Excellent location & Environment& THE VERY BEST PIZZA IN TOWN! :) Plus the people are very friendly...friendly service & outgoing. Love the great atmosphere & wildlife/fish (& live tank)with the log setting.
Great atmosphere but pizza is just OK. Typical cracker-style crust that is considered "pizza crust" in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We ordered the Number 1, which was sausage, pepperoni, extra cheese, and extra sauce. The pizza sauce and sausage were very bland. Not enough herbs, spices and garlic. If you are looking for very bland tasting pizza sauce, and very mild tasting sausage and pepperoni that will keep your kiddos from complaining, you will like the pizza here. And that's ok! But if you have at least one drop of Italian or East Coast USA blood in your body and are looking for great pizza that goes well with a beer, go ahead and pass this place up.
Great BBQ sandwich. They don't smother the meat with sauce so you get a great tasting bite every time. The potato soup was hearty and very tasty. I remember Coops from 35 years ago and while visiting Hayward I made sure to make this a stop. I wasn't disappointed.
I've eaten at Coop's my whole life and LOVE their pizza. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are always great. We also love their cheese garlic bread - yummm! If you are looking for a thick crust, deep dish this isn't the place, but its just as tasty. Over the years the service has always been amazing; the owner is there quite often, is super friendly, and attentive. Coops is a must have if you are in the Hayward area.
Pizza crust was a little too sweet fore and pricey for our family of 6. The fish tanks were neat
