I have visited the bait shop many times in the past for bait, tackle, etc. always with great service and products. However today I needed a simple tune done to my bow. I came in to have my bow pressed and twist the string to align my peep site. I have had this done on other bows on the past, and any competent archery tech in any half way decent shop can do this in just a few minutes. Brooke, their pro staff bow technician, with over 20 years of experience spent 30 minutes, frayed the string, bled all over it, and ultimately never corrected the problem I came in with. I can never trust my archery equipment with Brooke or this store again, not even in the middle of the rut in an absolute emergency situation.
They had everything I needed in a pinch. Sometimes that means you pay a little more for items because you didn't plan ahead. Customer service was very good.
The employees working there were awesome! He was very helpful with questions I had!
Great customer service, Stopped in for bait and asked about area grouse hunting. One of the employees spent considerable time directing me to some logging roads in the national forest east of Hayward. Info was spot on.
Nice selection of bait and tackle. A little pricey on live bait. Very expensive on liquor.
Sorry to rant, but extremely disappointing to pay for a service that wasn't completed, and more so with a very unprofessional approach by Brooke.
