Nice homes, It will be worth visiting in spring after they get a a few models setup on the lot.
Make sure you check everything thoroughly before the carpenters and plumbers leave. Because getting them to come back is damn near impossible. My folks home burned down in January and they settled on an American home out of Hayward, WI. Everything went fine through the building, delivery and assembly. When the last check check cleared so did the responsiveness. They can't get hot water out of either shower and the countertop on the kitchen island is cracked. For 7 weeks they have been calling and asking someone to come out and rectify these problems. They get promises but no action. As I said, the last check cleared.
Checked out a patriot double wide home here, told me the architectural shingles were extra as well as the extra insulation...long story short found a different dealer near Rice Lake WI viewed the same model for about $6000 less and they quoted me a price for the foundation for $4500, American homes in Hayward quoted me $8000!!!! The dealer near Rice Lake also informed that the patriot came standard with that insulation package and that the roof comes with architectural shingles from the factory...these people run a shady business.
Great houses but they are quite expensive.
